About Our Founder
Alexandria Miller
Dr. Alexandria Miller is an award-winning historian, writer, and multimedia documentarian dedicated to preserving and amplifying Caribbean stories. As the founder and host of podcast and digital platform Strictly Facts: A Guide to Caribbean History and Culture, she has earned awards from the Alliance for Women in Media and Carib Biz Network, and was shortlisted for the 2025 International Women’s Podcast Awards. Dr. Miller earned her Ph.D. in Africana Studies from Brown University in 2026. Her research explores Black women’s intellectual history, labor, and participation in the cultural economy in Jamaica.
