About Our Founder

Alexandria Miller

Alexandria Miller is an award-winning historian, writer, and multimedia documentarian dedicated to preserving and amplifying Caribbean stories. She is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Africana Studies at Brown University. Miller was selected as one of the 30 Under 30 Caribbean American Emerging Leaders by the Institute of Caribbean Studies in 2018 and, as a member of The Beautiful Project, her photography on Black women’s beauty was showcased at The Metropolitan Museum of Art the following year.
